Meet: Jennifer Hudson, DNP, PNP
Jennifer Hudson, DNP, PNP is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She earned her bachelor’s in nursing from Arizona State University in 2014. Her background includes working as a registered nurse on a Neuro PCU Unit, a Cardiac Tele Unit, a Postpartum Unit for 4 years and on a General Pediatric unit for a year. She then went on to get her Doctorate in Nursing at Arizona State University and graduated in May of 2023 with a specialty as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Her doctoral project was focused on increasing exclusive breastfeeding for first-time mothers in the hospital setting. Jennifer is involved in the pediatric community by serving on the board of the Arizona National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) chapter. She hopes to earn her lactation consultant certification at the end of September 2023. She spends her free time with her husband and three boys camping, biking, hiking, and making memories.
